Auburn Hills — Chrysler Group LLC says bronze will be the new gold at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show opeing next week in Las Vegas.

“My prediction is that, this year at SEMA, you’re going to see a lot of it,” said Mark Trostle, head of Mopar, SRT and motorsports design at Chrysler, as he showed off some bronze-toned rims on a factory customized Chrysler 300S, one of several SEMA concepts the automaker unveiled Tuesday.

Other concepts include:

■The Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver, a Mopar-modified version of the company’s new crossover that sports big knobby tires, bright orange tow hooks and a topographic map of Auburn Hills emblazoned on the hood and roof.
