Chrysler said today the Dodge Dart GT will offer a slightly peppier third engine, beginning in June, for those considering the company’s compact model.
According to Chrysler, the Dart GT will be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 184 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque and a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. It will have a base price of $20.995.
Currently the Dart comes equipped either with a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that produces 160 horsepower and 148 pound feet of torque or a 1.4-liter turbo engine that delivers 160 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque.
