CHELSEA, MI- Chrysler Group LLC’s namesake brand is continuing to have success with special- and limited-edition models.

Its newest model -- the “2013.5 200 S Special Edition” – sold out to Chrysler’s 2,300 or so dealers as soon as ordering was available, according to Chrysler Brand CEO and President Saad Chehab.

The new vehicle features a new suspension, more aggressive exterior and larger grille, dual exhaust tips, black wheels and a Carhartt water-resistant interior and trim with the clothing company's logo embossed in the seats.

“As soon as the car went online to order it was already (gone),” he told MLive during a Chrysler media event June 28. “The dealers already knew about this car coming, so they were waiting for it to come out – especially on the west coast.”
