Ford Motor Co. said Thursday its MyFord Mobile smartphone app will soon feature a charging station finder for electric vehicles and will be compatible with the new C-Max Energi and Fusion Energi plug-in hybrids.
"The ability to know there is a charge station at the other end is really important," said Mike Tinskey, Ford's director, vehicle electrification and infrastructure.
Ford will also update the app to show drivers how efficiently they are driving their plug-in vehicles and will include crowd-sourced information on public charging stations.
