FLINT, MI – General Motors officials announced Tuesday that it completed the purchase of the historic Durant-Dort Carriage Co. Factory One in Flint last week.
GM North America President Mark Reuss announced the company’s plan to purchase the 133-year-old facility on May 1, 2013 at an event in Flint.
The purchase price of the facility was not disclosed, but Reuss said earlier that the company paid “a fair price” for the historic site.
