DETROIT, MI- Chevrolet posted record-setting sales worldwide for an eighth-straight quarter, according to General Motors Co.
The Detroit-based automaker said its largest brand sold more than 1.25 million in the third quarter of 2012, a 3.1 percent increase over last year’s record-setting third quarter.
The Cruze continues to be the best-selling Chevrolet nameplate with more than 550,000 sold so far this year and more than 1.65 million sold since the car was launched.
