General Motors is set to unveil its redesigned Cadillac CTS luxury sedan at the New York International Auto Show this March, reports the Detroit Free Press.

In addition to the redesigned CTS, set to go on sale this fall, GM also plans to offer a coupe version of its Cadillac ATS. The ATS won North American Car of the Year at Detroit's North American International Auto Show last month.

Vice president for global Cadillac Bob Ferguson told the Free Press that the CTS redesign is intended to truly set it apart from the ATS as well as focus it as a competitor for BMW's popular 5-Series.
