General Motors expects to increase the percentage of crew-cab versions of the redesigned 2014 GMC Sierra, because they’re more expensive and more profitable.

The Sierra, which along with the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is beginning to arrive in dealerships, was redesigned for the first time in seven years.

Together the pickups are GM’s best-selling vehicle. While they are built from the same underbody, exterior design features and premium content on the interior differentiate the Sierra from the Silverado.
