In honor of the 150th anniversary of Henry Ford’s birth, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 10 Fords he would be proud of. Although he wasn’t alive to witness this diverse collection of cars, Ford helped revolutionize the automotive industry by making automobiles affordable for the masses. Keep reading to discover 10 Ford-company vehicles he’d be proud to have his name on — be sure to suggest your favorites in the comments below.

1964 Ford Mustang convertible 300x199 image1964½ Mustang: Henry would be proud knowing the original Mustang created the pony car class, which ultimately fueled an all-out war with competitors such as the original Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger. With the entry-level model powered by a 2.8-liter six-cylinder engine coupled to a three-speed manual transmission, more than 417,000 Mustangs were sold in the first year. While there’s nothing quite like the original, we do have high expectations about the redesigned 2015 Mustang that will also mark 50 years of the Mustang nameplate.

EcoBoost I-3 Formula Ford Racer: Who wouldn’t be proud of a 7:22 Nurburgring lap time? That’s how long it took for the Formula Ford race car to lap the Green Hell, thanks to a 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine that’s tuned to produce 202 hp. The racer’s I-3 is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and it can reportedly go from 0-62 mph in under four seconds.
