General Motors Co.'s Buick brand will begin television ads for its all-new 2013 Buick Encore this weekend in a spot highlighting the small crossover's nimbleness as it dodges giant dinosaurs on city streets.

The 30-second ad is set to debut Sunday evening during "30 For 30" on ESPN and will be shown as part of Buick's heavy ad rotation during the NCAA men's basketball tourney, Tony DiSalle, vice president of marketing for the Buick and GMC brands, said Wednesday during a meeting with reporters.
 
Buick used dinosaurs in the ad to signify the larger vehicles people typically think of when they think of luxury.
